Ware Public Schools welcomed Mrs. Annunziata as a third grade teacher in August 2013. She finds teaching to be both rewarding and challenging, but regardless of the challenges she says “I enjoy seeing the academic and social growth of my students throughout the year.” Mrs. Annunziata enjoys teaching in Ware because every day is different.
The inspiration that made Mrs. Annunziata want to become a teacher was from her third and fourth grade teachers, Mrs. Knight and Mrs. Lecours. They structured their classroom in a way that was not only challenging, but also motivating to all students. They always had engaging projects and lessons planned. They made her love school and she knew that she wanted to be like them when she grew up.
Mrs. Annunziata graduated from Bay Path University with an Elementary Education licensure in 2013. She continued her education to work towards her Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist and graduated from Westfield State University in 2016. In addition to teaching in Ware, Mrs. Annunziata has been an adjunct professor for the Education Department at Bay Path University since 2017.
Mrs. Annunziata lives in an old farm house in Barre that she bought with her husband, whom she married in the spring of 2019. When she’s not in the classroom you can find her with her husband spending a lot of time working on projects at their house and spending time with their families. She enjoys being outside, especially when the weather is warm and enjoys fishing, hiking and gardening.
