Ware Public Schools, in cooperation with the Collaborative for Educational Services (CES), applied for the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant for Ware Junior Senior High School.  We are excited to announce we have been approved for the four-year grant at $205,000 per year!  The program will be open to students in Grades 7-12.  Additional information on criteria to participate will be available soon.

The CES will be managing this project and are looking for a Site Coordinator, Activity Leader and Activity Assistant.  Brief descriptions of the jobs are below.  Those interested in applying should click on the link to a more detailed job description and to apply.

Site Coordinator
This person will be in charge of daily operations and will need an office space in the high school.

Activity Leader
These are the folks who will teach enrichment activities and also help with homework support time too.

Activity Assistant
These folks don't lead any activities but help knock teacher to student ratios down for larger groups.

Ware Middle School’s program is in its fourth year and was just awarded the Exemplary Grant.  The Exemplary Grant provides professional development to a 3-5 people team plus the school site-based facilitator to work collaboratively in the design of the Project Based Learning Module.

With the addition of the Ware Junior Senior High School Program, we will now have after school programs for students in Grades K-12!
