THIS NOTIFICATION IS REQUIRED BY THE ASBESTOS HAZARD EMERGENCY RESPONSE ACT (AHERA .40 CFR PART 763 OF TITLE II OF THE TOXIC SUBSTANCE CONTROL ACT)

Asbestos management plans have been developed for the following list of educational facilities which have asbestos containing material present.  These plans are available and accessible to the public at each individual facility main office as well as at the Superintendent’s Office.

“Child Find”

Ware Public Schools accepts referrals, provides special education evaluations, and develops and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEP’s) for private school students whose parents live in Ware and for students who attend a private school in Ware.    If you have a student for whom you have concerns regarding academic progress, behavior, social skills, fine or gross motor skills, speech or language skills, vision, hearing, mental and/or physical health, please call the Department of Special Education at 413-967-7261 for more information.
