Ware Public Schools

Sydney C. Simons graduated this past May from St. Johns University with a 3.4 GPA receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She was also commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army as a Medical Service Officer through the Army ROTC Program at St. Johns. She is currently attending the Basic Officer Leadership Course for Medical Services at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. She is assigned to the 405^th Combat Support Hospital serving as a Field Medical Assistant. Sydney Simons will attend Regis College this January entering into the advanced Nursing Program pursuing a career as an Army Nurse. She is the daughter of Kim and Tim Simons who pinned her rank on at her commissioning ceremony aboard the USS Intrepid in New York City on May 15, 2015.
