Ware Public Schools is pleased to announce Mrs. Kimberly Thompson as the new Principal for the Ware Middle School beginning with the 2021-2022 school year.
Mrs. Thompson has worked in the Ware Public Schools Learning Community for the past 18 years. She began as a Special Education Preschool Teacher and was the Early Childhood Coordinator. Most recently, she was the Assistant Principal at Stanley M. Koziol Elementary School.
Mrs. Thompson’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from Wheelock College in Elementary/Early Childhood Education, Massachusetts State Certification in Special Education Moderate Disabilities Prek-8th grade, Massachusetts Administrator’s Licensure Prek-6 from MESPA, the Massachusetts Elementary School Principal’s Association, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction Grades 1-6 through Lesley University.
Mrs. Thompson shares, “As part of this administrative team I want to ensure that we create a warm and welcoming environment which allows our students to feel safe and gives them the opportunity to become active members of the community. With the collaboration of staff, students, and parents our mission to support and educate children will be successful. Together we are One Team with One Goal and with these attributes there are No Limits to what we can accomplish.”
